Providing Support Services to Seniors and People with Disabilities in the East Beaches Community
"Helping to Maintain Independence"
We believe that our Support Services provide the necessary assistance which allows seniors and physically challenged people to remain in their homes for as long as possible.
At the East Beaches Resource Centre we provide practical support in times of need to help you care for your loved ones. We offer core services such as health information & referrals, friendly phone calls, as well as transportation services, workshops and clinics. We bring together a variety of resources to help you on your journey.
We respect the unique worth and inherent dignity of all people and provide respectful services in a safe, accessible and confidential environment. Because people and families are unique and have different needs, we continuously adapt our programs to best serve our community.
Our Centre The East Beaches Resource Center is staffed by a Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) who is funded by the Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority (IERHA) and is governed by a non-profit, volunteer-based Board of Directors.
