Our Program
Our Friendly Phone Call program establishes contact with residents who live alone and/or have medical problems.  It's more than just a phone call.  We offer peace of mind and reassurance that someone cares about your well-being and safety.  This program is FREE!  

Referrals
We welcome referrals for Friendly Phone Calls from family, the general public, doctors, health care workers and community contacts.

​Participant Suitability
Our Friendly Phone Call program is designed for people who:
  • Are lonely
  • Are isolated
  • Have lost a spouse
  • Don't get out much
  • Want a friendly voice to talk to
  • Need some support
  • Are recovering from surgery or an injury
  • Have just moved to the Beaches area

Participant Eligibility
  • Individuals 55+ living independently within the East Beaches area.
  • Individuals who are expressing feelings of loneliness and/or social isolation.
  • Individuals who understand and accept the service.
  • Individuals capable of establishing and maintaining a relationship with another individual.
