​The EBRC offers a Health Information and Referral service that helps connect people to health organizations that can best answer their questions.  We provide up-to-date contact information for the most reliable resources.​

Transportation

FEE
The EBRC provides a reliable, return Transportation service that offers safe accompaniment to our clients, providing them the opportunity to maintain their independence.  We offer many transportation options that are customizable to your loved one's unique needs.

Home Visits

NO COST
Our Home Visit program establishes contact with residents who live alone and/or have medical problems. This program provides the social interaction that many seniors need to live happily at home.

Ladies Coffee Group

NO COST
Our Community Resource Coordinator hosts a Ladies Coffee Group every 2nd Friday at 11am at the Birchwood Hotel Restaurant or Hillside Hub Restaurant. Exact dates are published in the East Beaches Community Newsletter as well as in our East Beaches Resource Centre Facebook page. The coffee group is a great opportunity to meet other ladies in the area and have some fun. 
All ladies in the East Beaches Community are welcome! Coffee and/or Brunch is available. Whatever you prefer.

E.R.I.K.
NO COST
The Emergency Response Information Kit - E.R.I.K. can potentially be lifesaving.  It includes a health information form, a health care directive form, and an organ donor card.  This kit can assist Emergency Response personnel to respond quickly during an emergency situation at home.

Friendly Phone Calls

NO COST
Our Friendly Phone Call program establishes contact with residents who live alone and/or have medical problems.  It’s more than just a phone call; we offer peace of mind and reassurance that someone cares about your well-being and safety. 

Adult Day Program

FEE
Our centre supports an Adult Day Program.  This program encourages senior interaction and offers benefits to both seniors and their caregivers.  For seniors, the adult day program offers a social outlet that facilitates community and social interaction with others.

Victoria Lifeline

FEE
The East Beaches Resource Centre is a partner to Victoria Lifeline, who supports the independence and well-being of seniors and people living with disabilities.  Our center can provide and install Victoria Lifeline equipment.​

Workshops & Clinics

NO COST
Our Health and Wellness Workshops and Clinics are filled with tons of information, tips, and strategies needed to make healthy choices, manage well-being and balancing a healthy lifestyle.​​​​

Home Making Care

FEE
We provide contacts for senior Home Making Care services, which play a valuable role in keeping seniors at home for as long as possible.  Home Making Care includes an array of services, such as housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands.

Home & Yard Maintenance

FEE
We provide connections to home and yard work services for seniors.  These services play a key role in assisting seniors to stay in their homes.  These workers can help with cutting grass, raking, snow removal, minor repairs, small painting jobs and much more.

Foot Care

FEE
We provide referrals to Foot Care nurses and information on clinics that provide a full range of foot care services, such as diabetic foot care, custom orthotics and footwear; as well as a diverse range of foot health treatment options.

Form Assistance

NO COST
​The EBRC provides a Form Assistance service which involves both searching and printing of on-line forms.  This service also offers, assistance in form completion if needed.  These on-line forms include, but are not limited to, CPP, OAS, EI and any other senior tax forms.
