Why Volunteer with Us?
Becoming a volunteer is a great way to stay active, apply skills, meet new people and contribute to your community while making a difference in someone's life and gaining new skills.
Board of Directors & Committee Members
These volunteers meet regularly to discuss information and make decisions about the centre's operations.
Committee work includes:
  • Board of Directors
  • Human Resources
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Governance
  • Risk Management​
Regular Volunteers
These volunteers commit their time on a regular basis with supervision from staff.  
Regular volunteer positions include:
  • Receptionist
  • Administrative Assistant
  •  Friendly Phone Caller
  • Friendly Home Visitor
Casual Volunteers
These volunteers help out at special events throughout the year, such as the Christmas Tea, Fashion Show, Health Fairs, Vaccination Clinics and Workshops.  
What kind of commitment is involved?
As a volunteer, you may devote as much or as little time as you feel comfortable.  Our office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

  • Provide us with two references
  • Choose a position you'd like to be involved in
*Please note:  A criminal record check is required for all volunteer positions.  All volunteers must also read and sign an EBRC Confidentiality Statement.
