CONFIDENTIALITY

The East Beaches Resource Centre is commited to protecting the privacy of individuals who use our services, as well as any personal information collected.

East Beaches Resource Centre employees, volunteers and service providers:
  • Are required to sign a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Are expected to treat this policy as a matter of the highest priority.
  • Are required to be proactive in insuring the security of all materials pertaining to clients.
  • Will only release information about a client with client consent.

Client confidentiality is limited to the following:
  • When mandated by law.
  • Under the Mental Health Act - when there is reason to believe there is a​ danger of harm to self or others.
  • If compelled to testify by court order. ​

All information entrusted to the East Beaches Resource Centre is treated with utmost confidentiality and respect for privacy.
